Kuvera's video: Investment Tips for Homemakers

@Investment Tips for Homemakers
According to a recent survey, just under 33% of married women in India are employed, and a poll found that over 50% of women, largely living in Tier 2 cities and non-working women, do not feel financially independent. Despite the abundance of options, there is a lack of information. Through this video, I'll walk you through some of the best investment possibilities in order to assist home-makers to develop wealth for a secure future. 1 Mutual Funds - With the option of investing in mutual funds through systematic investment plans (SIPs), you can invest small amounts every month. Some mutual fund schemes even allow you to invest with a SIP as low as Rs 100 per month. 2 FD - FD provides security and guaranteed returns. Always good to have at least 25-30% of your investments in FDs. Kuvera offers a wide range of bank and company FD. You can begin investing in FDs with as little as Rs. 5000. This makes it incredibly simple for women to start saving and investing and then watch their corpus grow. FD also provides flexible tenures, giving women the choice to select shorter or longer tenures depending on their financial goals. 3 National Savings Certificate - The National Funds Certificate is an excellent investment choice for homemakers who want to invest their available savings. They can invest any additional sum in multiples of 100 up to the minimum investment amount of Rs 1000. 4 Post Office Monthly Income Scheme - The Post Office Monthly Income Scheme is a savings programme made available by the Indian Postal Services. This programme is perfect for women who want to make money with their savings because it falls under the scope of the Government of India and is seen as a safe investment option. The Post Office Monthly Income Scheme scheme allows you to contribute as little as 1,500 per year and receive a consistent monthly interest payment. Most homemakers store savings as cash. Remember the cash you saw in the rice box? But collecting cash has a major drawback, it does not give you any return. With inflation, the value of the stored cash will reduce over time.
