CommNews&Info (CNI)'s video: Land Fragmentation and infertility affects crop production says local refugee farmer

@Land Fragmentation and infertility affects crop production says local refugee farmer
We visited Mr. Daniel D. Charles, with a household of 12, who blames low crop production in Kyangwali refugee settlement to land fragmentation and soil infertility. The farmer of 11 also warned that students, especially girls, staying at Holme and not being school renders them vulnerable to a lot of bad things. The asked for support for children in school and suggested the issue of land be checked. Mr. Daniel is a refugee from South Sudan and has lived in Kyangwali for over 20 years, supporting his family with money earned from the sale of crops from his plot. With land fragmentation, he is not able to get the same output he used to get some years back. He is an example of many other farmers facing the same challenge through this same refugee camp.
