The killing of dogs in the refugee settlement of a Kyangwali has become very controversial; with some refugee dog owners saying only those in the streets upon trading centers should be killed and those with caring owners to be exempted. However a join resolution of OPM and Refugee Welfare Councils (RWCs) claim there is no vaccination of these dogs against rabies and that with rampant dog bite cases, would result in massive transmission of the diseases in the a Kyangwali refugee community. This led to ordering the killing of all dogs. To others, it’s a time to make money as dog killers yet, many innocent dog owners see it as animal cruelty. In this video, Ms. Stima Grace, a dog owner debates Mr. Arellano who happens to supporter killing of these dogs. They sat down with our own, Isborn Lomeling and here is what they had to say.
