@The Forgotten Formula One Race Track of Brussels - Heysel

After the world fair in 1958 Belgian gouvernment had the wonderful idea of organising Formula One Races in the Heysel parc in Brussels. Trafic on one of the busiest ringways in Europe was diverted as racingcars blasted through the park and the residential area of Strombeek-Bever... Albeit not very practical. The fun didn't last long though. After 1962 Formula one was no longer longer welcome in the Heysel parc and the circuit disappeared into oblivion.
