Il Video mostra la vista aerea dell'Isola del Giglio e la rotta seguita dalla Nave nel Naufragio oltreché evidenzia la simulazione del punto nave dal momento dell'impatto con lo scoglio affiorante "Le Scole", fino al suo rovesciamento nei pressi di Punta Gabbianara . Causa del disastro, dovuto ad un eccesso di velocità circa 15 nodi, è stato un errore di valutazione della traiettoria degli scogli, nella manovra di avvicinamento alla costa dell'isola, il tutto condizionato da una eccessiva deriva della Nave al momento dell'impatto.
