Bastani, an expert in the field of AI, Machine Learning, and implementation science, is Co-Director of the new Lab with Wharton's Marrisa King, PhD, and Laura Zarrow, MSEd. The overall goals of the Lab that brings together scientists from across the University of Pennsylvania campus is to collaborate on how algorithmic tools can be used to improve the quality of health care and reduce its costs.
