Ukraine's former Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko is being tried in court for abuse of office. A large crowd of supporters gathered in front of the court building in Kiev in a show of solidarity for the former premier. Yulia Timoshenko has denied all wrongdoing in the natural gas deals with Russia, and says the accusations against her are politically motivated. She was previously charged with misusing $425 million of government funds in 2009. If found guilty, she could face up to 10 years in prison.
