I've done my fair share of people pleasing boiled it down personally, for my deep need to belong and accepted, so how to turn that into a healthy asset instead of hindering our ability to be a leader and strive for our highest version of self? I believe we need to pay attention to two specific goals / mission: 1) Personal Goals 2) Community / Tribe / Family Goals When these two align, I believe we are in harmony with our core values and mission, but we must also be willing to choose our own goals / mission if it directly conflicts with others and that's NOT EASY. Because by rejecting others, you're also forced to rely on yourself and in that vulnerable space is where I've always gotten the most strength.
