Hassan struggles to keep it together when questions are raised about Abdul’s background. Dale spirals into despair as his racing dreams fall apart and Kenzie is torn between alpha males Justin and Scott. Ronnie Fairchild’s suspicions are aroused when Hassan becomes flustered over some routine questioning about Abdul’s birth documents. Desperate to throw him off course, Hassan hatches a plan with Abdul to go away for a few days but when Ronnie catches up with them, he reveals some new information that proves devastating for both father and son. Unable to come to terms with his failure to make the cycling team, Dale looks to find his adrenaline rush elsewhere – but Lenny worries his friend’s increasingly reckless behaviour will lead him on a path of self-destruction. Justin worries over Kenzie’s obvious chemistry with Scott. When she subconsciously looks to one of them for support over the other, the two boys lock horns, resulting in an explosive showdown.
