The Los Angeles Lakers have signed C Jaxson Hayes to a 2-year contract on Day 2 of 2023 NBA Free Agency. Hayes spent the first 4 seasons of his career with the Pelicans and posted a career high 9.3 PPG and 4.5 RPG in the 2021-22 NBA season before being in and out of the rotation last year.
