@Part 01 - GT86 2JZGTE VVTI The Road to Formula Drift Spec Car Build
This is the short version description/story of my build done by David Riiber/Underground Garage in Norway, unfortunately. Dates: 18-03-2016 - First time to pickup per contract pickup date. Then builder get another 12 days to build it finished I will come and stay 3 days to pickup the car, and test it and take it home with me. 01-04-2016 – I go to pickup and stay 3 days, I end up staying 9 days! Car not finished, Builder forgets to put oil in engine and breaks engine by driving it around his shop, revving it hard to get it hot and up on trailer with no oil on! I give him a gift of 3800 euro to help him fix it, as I felt sorry for him. I return home, no car, wasted 1600 km up and 1600 km back, with trailer in tow. Builder gets 1 month more to get it all finished! And now its his responsibility to deliver the car to me, race ready, tested, everything working, I was there already to pickup the car as per the build agreement but it was not finished. 01-05-2016 – Still no finished I have no car, again broken agreement. 31-05-2016 the car is finished, they say, but the wrap job is not finished and all fucked up, wrapping the car in my design, is not done, and is a failure! They offer me money back, but when it came to pay, hid did not want to, what a jerk! 30-06-2016 – I finally get the car, Untested, unproven, no clue it it will work and hold up.. ohh and he took 1 month time getting the car shipped to me, not personally delivered with a bunch of flowers laying on his knees begging for forgiveness, like he should have done after all this BULL SHIT and 3½ month delay... ridicules! 01-07-2016 – Yes and that should have been the end of it right? Right of the bat, I think the car was running a bit funny, like on 5 cylinders, and right I was, half the connectors to the coils are bad wiring, ill have to repair my self now, so it was not even running right when I got it. Rusted unpainted parts underneath the car clearly show evidence of shitty garage that not even have a lift. Also leaking steering rack, suspension issues, alignment issues I have to sort out my self. 12-07-2016 – And i just got email after I send email asking for the promised money to redo the wrap job on the car, and to fix those other issues, his reply was, I speak bad about him on Facebook so he will not pay me what he owes me, he send me a bill for shipping, LOL like I will pay that. 14-07-2016 – I take the car testing first time after I worked non it 5 days to get it kind of ready. Had to test, to see what more issues there would be. After only 1½ hour there, testing, trying to fix steering issues, the car was smoking so much from oil leaking at turbo, I just had to stop and go home. 15-07-2016 – Ive taken apart the turbo and things looks bad, one can see it has not been rebuild after he ran the car with no oil in it, that has also fucked the turbo, I have to get it rebuild or buy a new one, another 1500 euro. 16-07-2016 – I’m releasing my documentary movie “GT86 2JZGTE VVTI The Road to Formula Drift Spec Car Build” watch it here: https://youtu.be/E06H-mA-W6o Over 100.000 euro ive send Underground Garage to build this car, and this is what I get, you can understand why im pissed!
