Monkey Beach and Muka Head Lighthouse @ Penang National Park Cuti Cuti Malaysia Route ▶️Penang National Park entrance ▶️Sungai Tukun ▶️USM/CEMAC (Pantai Teluk Aling) ▶️Teluk Duyung @ Monkey Beach ▶️Muka Head Lighthouse (Rumah Api Muka Head) Trekking/hiking to Monkey Beach After registering at the park office, enter the park and just follow the path along the coastline (flat and easy) for 1 km until you come to Sungai Tukun, where the path divides into two. Turning left here would take you on a short walk to the Canopy Walkway, After Sungai Tukun the pathway becomes a jungle path, After about 30 minutes you will reach the USM beach (Pantai Teluk Ailing) where the USM Research Station is located. This beach is usually totally empty so a good place to stop for a while and maybe take some photos. The trail starts again at the end of the beach. Around another an hour will reach Monkey beach, the way to muka head lighthouse at the end of Monkey beach, and you will need to climb up around 30-45minutes to reach Muka head lighthouse, to enjoy the beautiful ocean scenery. I personally love to climb up to Muka Head Lighthouse to sit up there enjoy the scenery for an hour or so.
