Bill has to send a message to his family QUICK! This extra short episode features a Western Union telegram from May 13th, 1943. This series is about the letters my grandfather wrote home to his family, of his experiences while he was away at college, Basic Training, and eventually overseas during World War II. There are also pictures that he took during that time as well. I wanted to document and preserve his story as told by through these letters and also include things such as music, films, events, or significant news from the specific date in which each letter takes place and from such a historical and important time. **Any added stories, facts, archival footage, etc. is gathered through many hours of research across the internet, film and books on the subject of WW2 and the 1940s.
