Laurus Travel's video: Japanese Snow Monkeys

This video combines clips and still images shot at Iwatayama Monkey Park in Kyoto, Japan. The Japanese macaque, also known as the snow monkey, is a terrestrial Old World monkey species that is native to Japan. The Japanese monkey can be found on three of the four main Japanese islands: Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu. Some overseas tourists get out of their way to visit the Jigokudani Monkey Park so that they can watch the monkeys bathing in hot springs (onsen in Japanese). If you plan do visit the park, be sure to do your research well in advance and do it thoroughly to avoid disappointment. It is really important to set your expectations realistic.
