LeKlein's video: Nivuk Skin Pi Test Review of Paraglider

This is another subjective Test Review for a Paraglider, this time from European Manufacturer Nivuk. It is a new Budget-Paraglider with only one skin to save money in construction. To assist with gliding, Nivuk has installed five balloons below the Glider. Also this helps with Ground-Handling. Otherwise construction has some interesting features like Tinitol-Shark-Brace and very low Aspect-Ratio. Regarding safety, i did not experience a whack-tendency or spontaneous ears. All in all it can be said, that this is an interesting idea for people who don't want to spend so much money for a complete Paraglider, but it comes at a price! Because of SingleSkinConstruction (SSC), thermal flying is impossible. The five balloons are nowhere near enough room to store thermal-energy, like for instance in a DoubleSkinConstruction. But for hinking up a hill and then gliding down it is a nice wing. Otherwise, this Glider is good.
