Cloverleaf Pond Heater. Hi its Lee from the Japanese Water Gardens, In this video I am going to be showing you what I believe is the best value for money pond heater on the market today. This is the Cloverleaf Pond Heater. It is everything you need from and pond heater and nothing you don’t. The unit has an extremely simple design and is amazingly compact. There is a analogue temperature dial which is connected to the built in thermostat. The dail can be set to any temperature from 0°c upto 40°c To protect the element from accidental burn out Cloverleaf have built in a flow switch to shut down the unit if water flow is interrupted. The casing is of good quality plastic and has an IP55 weatherproof rating. You will find it very easy to install. Supplied with demountable unions and hose tails you will have everything you need to connect this heater - bar for glue or a couple jubilee clips - to either solid solvent weld pipe or flexible pipe systems. It is prewired with a 1.5m rubber cable. There are two sizes available 1KW and 2KW. Under typical operating conditions with a suitably insulated pond I would recommend the 1KW unit for ponds upto 1500 gallons or 7000 litres. The more powerful 2KW model would be perfect for larger ponds. Finally for the best and most surprising bit, its cheap as chips. A faction of the price you can expect to pay for other quality pond heaters. You could do a lot worse than this excellent pond heater.
