Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is here, and it is an awesome upgrade with unprecedented realism not seen before. In this video, we begin by discussing some of the new features of the iconic and beloved aviation software and then take off from JFK airport and fly around New York City. Once there, we'll see some amazing vistas and views of the great Metropolis encompassing such landmarks as the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square, Central Park, Wall Street area and much more. in addition, as we fly, I will give a running commentary about all the things we see, including famous New York, iconic buildings, rivers, bridges and neighborhoods in and around the city such as the Financial District (FiDi), Greenwich Village, Tribeca, Upper Westside, Upper East Side, Midtown and much more! We'll also take a look at Brooklyn, Queens and across the Hudson to New Jersey. We also change the clock to different times of the day such as noon sunset, dusk and night where the city is all lit up, a very captivating effect that is especially dramatic in Manhattan. In addition to the time, we'll also vary the weather to include clear blue sunny skies, as well as dramatic cloud formations. This is especially striking at and around sunset where the city becomes infused with stunningly beautiful atmosphere and the orange light is reflected by the clouds. Also seen on our tour of New York and its surrounding boroughs is the Statue of Liberty, Jersey City, and the spot where Captain Sullenberger landed his plane safely in the Hudson River after his engines were damaged by a bird strike. We'll also stop off for some delicious knishes and drench them in some yellow mustard and wash them down with cream soda. Actually, we won't really do that because as far as I know, that is impossible to do in Flight Simulator. That is unless you know of a way, and if you do, please let me know in the comments. However I highly doubt it is possible and even if it was, I wouldn't expect to see it there because, and I might be wrong about this, hardly anyone reads these descriptions under the video. Or do they? In fact, I just put the knishes stuff in there to see if you were paying attention. if someone does, in fact, actually read this, please let me know since I would be curious to know. Anyway, enough shenanigans. This version of Flight Simulator is the best ever and if you have never been to New York, or if you have been to Manhattan, as many have at least once or twice in their lives, you wouldn't want to miss this flight. in addition to the stunning views of New York City, we take a look at some of the different aircraft available in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 which includes airplanes from Textron Cessna, Boeing, Airbus and others. well also take a look at the marketplace where you can purchase addons that let you extend the functionality and realism of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
