L-O-V-E was a song written by Kaempfert & Gabler and popularized by the great Nat King Cole. In the mid 1990s, I wanted to get better at 3D character animation. I decided the best way to do that was to choose a jazzy tune and make a character that would act out its performance. The song I chose was LOVE, a classic song written by Kaempfert & Gabler. I recorded the song with electric guitar, digital piano plus bass and strings. I also sang the song myself as best as I could at the time. A lot has changed since then. Much more ambitious and complex animations are being created with computers, but this humble yet charming little animation may still have a way to make you smile and maybe even tap your toes.
