This sequence, which was animated for a longer television commercial, had it's share of challenges. The first was to make the swab interact with the nose in a realistic manner so that it deforms as a real nose would. That was done with Cinema 4D. The electron microscope looking germs in the pop up circle was created with Blender and then composited in After Effects.
