55 km Ride for spacial Ghevar | Kandhala | Kairana | Shamli | Royal Enfield Himalayan Ghevar - Ghevar (Devanagari:घेवर) is a Rajasthani cuisine sweet traditionally associated with the Teej Festival. Besides Rajasthan, it is also famous in the adjoining states of Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, western Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh etc. It is disc-shaped sweet cake made with maida (refined wheat flour) and soaked in sugar syrup. There are many varieties of Ghevar, including plain, mawa and malai ghevar. It is generally prepared in July–August for the Teej or Rakshabandhan festival.As per ayurveda, the months of Shravan and Bhadrapada i.e. July-August-September are predominated with Vata and Pitta respectively. This causes dryness and acidity in the whole body, resulting in restlessness and mood swings.The highly sweet and ghee laden Ghevar and Firni provide relief from the acidic and moist environment. They have Vata and Pitta calming properties due to ghee and sweet juice. Thus, they have a calming effect on mind as well as the body. pani puri- Pani Puri was reportedly first introduced in the ancient Kingdom of Magadha, which presides in the Southern part of Bihar. Introduced during the 600 BC, Pani Puris were called Phulki in the Kingdom of Magadha. According to a media report, during the ancient era, pani puris used to be much smaller, crispier than those of today.However, there are other media reports suggests that pani puri was introduced by Draupadi, the wife of Pandavas, when she was challenged by her mother-in-law Kunti. Reportedly, one fine day Kunti threw a challenge at Draupadi, asking her to make a meal out of some leftover potato curry and a small amount of dough. Draupadi, who was married to the five Pandavas brothers, ideated a new recipe, made from the dough and potato curry, which later won her praise and appreciation from her mother-in-law Kunti, who also blessed the dish with immortality Kandhala- Kandhla is a town and a municipal board in Shamli District in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.Kandhla is located at 29.32°N 77.27°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 241 meters (790 feet). In July 2012, Shamli got its original name back by Akhilesh Yadav, who became chief minister in 2012. Prior to that, Kairana was a tehsil of Muzaffarnagar district.the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Shamli- Shamli is a district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This district was carved out from Muzaffarnagar District on 28 September 2011 as Prabudh Nagar and renamed Shamli in July 2012.
