Quick and Easy Homemade Dog Food Recipe | Cooking for my Dog Lately I have been trying to incorporate more fresh foods into Leo's diet, and came up with this quick and easy homemade dog food recipe. For Leo's homemade dog food, I used chicken breast, beef stew meat (any kind will do), chicken hearts, chicken gizzards, sweet potatoes, and spinach. DISCLAIMER: Please note that I am not a veterinarian or an animal nutritionist, so I recommend using your own judgement to decide what is in the best interest of your pets. It is also advisable to consult with your vet to ensure that your dog’s home cooked diet is balanced & includes all of the nutrients that are necessary for your dog’s health. The dog food I made in this video is used simply as a topper for his kibble food as I want to make sure that my dog still meets all his nutritional needs.
