Leotaurus1975's video: Kann denn Liebe S nde sein Hans Busch Otto Stenzel 1938 39

@"Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein?" ... Hans Busch / Otto Stenzel (1938/39)
"Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein?" (Lit. Can love be a sin?) is one of Zarah Leander's signature songs and was featured in her 1938 comedy "Der Blaufuchs" (The Blue Fox). The song with its risqué lyrics and double entendres has been covered by many artists over the past decades from Peter Alexander to Conchita Wurst. Today's video features two very different versions. The first is performed by Hans Busch and his orchestra and is played in a "salon orchestra" style. The second by Otto Stenzel (1903-89) and his orchestra from the Scala music hall in Berlin with vocals by Wilfried Sommer is much more pop oriented and uptempo. Unfortunately the record is very worn so the quality is not great. About the records : Hans Busch Tanz-Orchester Polydor 47 298A / mx. 8235 1/2 GR9 Berlin, 1939 Otto Stenzel von der Scala, Berlin mit seinem Tanz-Orchester Gloria G.O. 41 258a / mx.
