"Manifesto" is the result of the creative collaboration between Taurean Washington (artist), Les Owen (filmmaker), and Steve Owen (composer and engineer). Hip-Hop music has been a major influence in the life and painting style of Taurean for most if his painting career. His desire to proclaim the message of his art with a growing audience inspired him to make the literal connection between his art and hip-hop music by combining the two. Filmmaker Les Owen was inspired by Taurean's work which lead him to produce his first music video in an effort to lend support to another artist.
