(2022) Donnie Johns is a professional percussionist and music teacher living in the DMV. His love for percussion and teaching young musicians is the driving force in his life and his students reflect the same enthusiasm as their teacher. Donnie focuses on giving all students quality opportunities to be the best players they can become. They know how much he cares and respond to his passion. "The Percussionist" is part of a series of short films entitled "Defining Passion" which explore the creative results of individuals who follow their passion.
