Lesona's video: War of the Hexes - WARTILE PRE-ALPHA - Upcoming RTS and Kickstarter

It's very much a REAL-TIME strategy game, even though the layout looks more like XCOM than Starcraft. Wartile is based on miniature tabletop gaming, as each figure has its own attack, health, and defense values. Certain models have advantages over others. In the full game, each model will be able to be customized with wargear picked up in the campaign. In this video we go ahead and play through a quick game of Wartile, and I show you the different mechanics that the developers are working on. Mechanically, the game is quite sound. Since it's still in ALPHA, some textures, sprites, and animations aren't quite finished yet. The boards on which the miniatures play, however, look absolutely amazing.
