´´Pistol´´ Pete Maravich es el jugador con más calidad que ha pasado por la NBA. Sus jugadas, movimientos y pases en la cancha levantaban en cada partido al publico de sus asientos y demostró que los blancos también podian hacer virguerías con el balón. Sus años más destacados como jugador de baloncesto fueron el los New Orleans Jazz, Boston celtics y Atlanta Hawks donde llevava su apodo a la espalda en vez de su apellido. Se formó en la universidad LSU y murió haciendo lo que más le gustaba y en donde el siempre soñó: en una cancha de baloncesto.
