@“Global warming would fit the bill…” – Alan Watt
The Club of Rome is a top think tank, created by former Mussolini fascists and used for decades as an essential planning institution for high oligarchic interests, combining global banking circles, European royal houses, American financiers and Soviet intelligentsia. One of their essential tasks was the planning of economic globalization as a means to create an integrated, corporatized world system. To that end, they essentially designed the modern world trade system, in Reshaping the International Order (1976). They also stated, in The First Global Revolution (1991), that global convergence would require nothing less than a global revolution (economic, psychosocial and political), a decades long, incrementalist process, whereby the world would gradually, and painfully, be transitioned into the new global system. In that book they also stated that people tend to accept unification and drastic measures when they’re faced with a common enemy or threat, «either a real one, or one invented for the purpose». So they set about to find common threats to facilitate the revolutionary process: «In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention… the real enemy then, is humanity itself». And, indeed, the doctrine of Global Sustainability, which in itself is a creation of the Club of Rome, was organized around the notion that you save nature by degrading mankind's condition -- by negating economic development and by debasing the standard of living. That's an essential precondition for a managed, neofeudalist world system. --- We all care about the environment. We all want to live in a clean world, in harmony with life and nature. But Establishment-run environmentalism is NOT about that. (1) It's about creating an alleged 'green economy' wherein energy and energy transactions will be turned into financial collateral to back the nonstop proliferation of toxic financial products, now under “green” terminology and so called “green financial frameworks and instruments” – think carbon credits and carbon markets, such as the ECX and the CCX. This is meant to allow for the survival and, indeed, indefinite unraveling, of the world financial speculative black hole. These things will eventually be leveraged by use of cap and trade backed by energy taxation, being that the purpose is also to then expand the cap and trade design to the management, exploration and trade of all other world finite resources. This has nothing whatsoever to do with the environment. It's just a finance banking takeover policy disguising itself as “environmental” since that is the only way it will ever be accepted by the peoples of the world. (2) It's about misleading you into believing the environment is being taken care of while serious environmental problems are allowed to proliferate. Public attention is captured and monopolized by the use of false causes such as global warming, while the real problems unfold and expand in the background. These are things such as: . nuclear atmospheric and oceanic contamination . manipulation and degradation of atmospheric dynamics and climate cycles by the use of geoengineering . genetic contamination of natural species through the uncontrolled spread of genetically modified species in the wild . soil desertification via intensive farming and potent pesticides . depletion of ocean fish through intensive fishing . chemical pollution and electropollution (3) It's about grabbing lands and resources from small proprietors and indigenous peoples so as to hand them over to private interests and trusts. (4) It's about cultivating the idea that human progress and development hurt nature. This includes the notion that increases in the standard of living are a burden on the environment. This being so, the solution is to step on the brakes of progress and go back to the village – to a post-modern marketeer utopia of simple, austere, contented backwardness. This is of course a reactionary exercise to justify and rationalize the worst forms of inequality. What hurts nature is the use of obsolete, destructive, pollutant practices. The development of clean, creative and effective avenues of human progress improves Humanity's standard of living while it respects nature and, indeed, is essential to cleaning up the planet. Nuclear pollution and the like don't solve themselves. We urgently need to create solutions for this. (5) False environmentalism is also about using green taxation to cripple most economic activity and allow for everyone's impoverishment under the pretext of 'sustainability'. After all, and as History shows, oligarchic structures only feel secure when everyone underneath has been reduced down to the level of dependents and paupers. Protect nature from all those who will exploit it in the name of power. Say NO to fake environmentalism.
