This vlog is all about winter trek to Kedarkantha and surrounding area of Sankri, Uttarakhand. Friends, this trip was planned on the last week of January 2019 and booked the trip with himalayanhigh. Best way to reach Dehradun if you are planning for any trip from Delhi. 12205/ Nanda Devi AC Express Time Table: Departure From New Delhi (NDLS) 23:50:00 Arrival to Dehradun (DDN) 05:40:00 From Dehradun we took a cab to Sankri which was booked by Himalayan High after discussing with other group members prior to reaching Dehradun. Our group consist of eight members. This was my first experience, sharing a trip with strangers and it was a good experience, they all are good and very cooperative. We started at 10 am from Dehradun and reached Sankri at 10 pm via Mussoorie, Purola road and stayed in Himalayan High Hotel in Sankri. We faced landslide and heavy traffic in Mussoorie due to snow on the way to Sankri. We have a chance to views the beautiful scene of the Yamuna river, Yamunotri valley, farming lands and beautiful moun tains. How to reach Sankri from Dehradun (185 k.m.) : 1) By Bus timings from Dehradun Railway Station: Three bus between 5:30 to 8:00 . Cost 300, time 10-11 hours. 2)By cab: Book prior to reaching Dehradun. 6 Seater bolero will cost u 5k to 6 k. and 13 seater traveler will cost you 9 k to 10 k. 3)You can find any cab wala or any group outside the railway station for the same.
