The surrounding greenery, the statue of Lord Buddha in the meditation posture and the sounds of rhythmic bells coming from a distance contemplates with the environment. Small Buddhas: The Small Buddhas are actually the small monks that represent the people in general. It’s believed that these small monks carved out by the disciples, safeguards the forest during the night. It’s built in memory of Japanese saint who once came to this part of the world to preach Buddhism. Yellow Bamboo: The Yellow Bamboo near the gateway of the monastery is considered sacred because it fulfills the good wishes of people. Series of Tori: It’s a special walkway that comprises of several equal sized red pillars. It has the magical power to make you feel connected with your inner soul once you walk quietly through it counting your footsteps.
