Les Mediterranees 5 Etoiles Camping Nouvelle Floride, Marseillan Plage, 5* camping, South of France. Heather and I enjoyed our 2023 summer holiday camping roadtrip in France. We spent three days of the holiday in the South of France. Marseillan Plage is between Montpellier and Narbonne. July is busy on the Mediterranean coast and we hadn't book a camping place. Fortunately, when we arrived late in the afternoon, there were a couple of camping pitches still left at Les Mediterranees. Five star camping is a little more than we need but there was traffic jam ahead of us on the autoroute, so we decided to stop at Marseillan. Our pitch size was sufficient, close enough to the toilets and showers. Getting the car onto the pitch was little tricky but I got approving smiles and nods from our neighbours when I managed to reverse our Mazda CX-5 SUV into the pitch. Les Mediterranees camping has great onsite facilities and it caters for adults and families with children. There are onsite shops, bars cafes, eat in and take out restaurants. The site is very clean, well maintained and felt safe. The campsite has its own private stretch of sandy beach. The water is clear and safe for children to swim and paddle.
