LifeTransPlanet's video: A Feat of Engineering Puente La Mata de Platano -Ciales Puerto Rico

We had the opportunity to visit the Puente La Mata de Platano in Ciales, Puerto Rico which means the Plantain Plant Bridge. It's real name is Puente Juan Jose Jimenez, but it got this nickname after a plantain sprouted up out of the blue right nearby after a hurricane. It has been closed and reopened a number of times after repairs have been made. Currently it can only serve single lane traffic which makes it unique. Be extra care while crossing on foot for there is not much space set aside for pedestrians. The river it crosses and the cliffs were impressive and reminded me of an old Western movie set.
