We camped at Magotho Camp within the Kwai Concession Botswana. 2 days out of 3 we sighted wild dogs and it seemed to be the same 4 wild dogs each day but it was hard to tell. When on the move, the wild dogs set a cracking pace and when they shortcut away from the road, it is a lot of guesswork as to where they will appear next. With 38,000 hectares of game-rich delta landscape, Khwai Concession offers the opportunity to experience the magic of Botswana Wildlife. Each day we had great sightings of elephants. The Magotho campsites were pretty overgrown as it was Summer but interestingly enough, the campsite of the caretaker was recently mown. Khwai Concession Botswana sure has magic of its own.
