Located at an altitude of 3440 metres, Keylong has until now mainly served as a pit stop for travelers heading to Leh, Ladakh. But with the opening of the new Atal Rohtang tunnel, we have now gained accessibility to Lahaul even during the winter months. Moreover the travel time and distance too has drastically reduced. Earlier Manali to Keylong via Rohtang pass it used to take anywhere between 5-12 hours but now we can reach Keylong in around 2 hours.
