Nina is fed up and informs Tom that while she is an alien from another sophisticated world, he isn't "family" either. He's from another planet as well, one that is not nearly as glamorous: the planet of the apes! Their parents had pity on such an inferior creature and adopted him so he could evolve... Tom is devastated and calls his friend Cockroach to confide in him, but Cockroach thinks this is great news. Being an ape is so cool! Tom reconsiders the question and decides to accept his condition. It even has some advantages: apes play all day, don't go to school, eat with their hands and feet and, above all, they're not afraid of stupid alien lizards...
