Such a fun meal to make with this creamy cheesy sauce in spaghetti squash boats, and with Pillsbury Crescent Snowman Rolls. Bonus recipe of Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash Seeds Cheesy Spaghetti Squash & Pillsbury Crescent Snowman Rolls & bonus Recipe: Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash Seeds Spaghetti Squash: Slice lengthwise. If it’s too hard to cut, microwave for 15 seconds. Scoop out seeds & save if you want to roast them Bake facing down on a baking sheet. You don’t need oil, but can drizzle oil inside before facing them down if you want. Bake at 400F for 30-40 minutes until fork tender. While that’s in the oven, start making cheesy sauce: In a pot on medium/high heat, add: 2 tbsp plant based butter 2 cups unflavoured, unsweetened plant milk (I used oat milk) ½ cup nutritional yeast 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion flakes or powder Salt & pepper to taste 1 tsp turmeric Cayenne if you want a little heat – add to taste 1 tsp lemon juice 2 cups of veggies – I had frozen broccoli and cauliflower Cook on medium heat until veggies are tender and cooked Add a can of rinsed cooked chickpeas Once spaghetti squash is cooked, pour some of the cheesy sauce into each one and top with shredded vegan cheese if you want (optional). Broil for a few minutes to melt the cheese. Keep an eye on them and don’t let them burn. Pillsbury Crescent Snowman Rolls Open a package of crescent rolls and separate a triangle. Break up that triangle piece into 3 pieces, a larger one, medium sized one and a small one. Use your hand to roll them each into a ball Lay them on a silicon mat lined baking sheet by forming the snowman. Break up a straight pretzel piece into 2 pieces, and use them for the snowman’s arms Push 2 peppercorns into face as eyes Bake as per instructions – 370F for 11-13 minutes Bonus recipe of Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash Seeds Pick out all seeds from spaghetti squash Rinse and pat dry with a clean dish towel Add 1 tsp oil Add garlic powder and salt to taste Mix Air fry at 390F for 6-8 minutes Check on them often as each air fryer is different.
