After over 400 units on the waiting list, I noticed something - the vast majority of customers were buying 4 or 6 at a time. This must be for clocks! In return for their awesome support so far, I've begun development for table clock software for the Lixies that runs on an ESP8266. This "Tixie" code is web connected for automatically pulling time and UTC offset, has timer functionalities built in, and can be set and controlled from a mobile app I've made as well - using Apache Cordova for iOS and Android. I'll be open sourcing the Tixie clock/app code soon as an example provided with the Lixie library. :)
