End of Diesel run, the Ernakulam Bengaluru Ernakulam Intercity Express. After the electrification completion via Dharmapuri, Hosur, Bengaluru line, the train gets nod for AC traction change. This train will run End to End with AC traction since today. Earlier the loco change was happening at Erode where and Erode shed based Diesel loco used to handover the train to AC locomotive for onward journey, later it was allowed to run End to End Diesel power around 2018.
