London Futurists's video: Artificial Intelligence And You

Peter Scott has just written "Artificial Intelligence and You", a book that tackles the same theme as his weekly podcast: helping people from all walks of life get useful understanding of what AI means to them. In this London Futurists webinar, Peter shared some lessons and insights from his extensive experience in discussing the the future of AI with people in all walks of life. In particular: in communicating about the promise and peril of AI with general audiences, what are the most important leverage points, misunderstandings, fascinations, and missed opportunities? The webinar spanned the gamut of the subtitle of his book: "What AI Means for Your Life, Your Work, and Your World". There were references to autonomous weapons, self-driving vehicles, neuroscience, current topics in AI ethics, and above all, how we should think about AI. The webinar took place on 23rd July 2022.
