In 1989 he graduates from CPM in Milano, the most important school of modern music in Italy. Subsequently he studies in several master classes, among which those of Siena Jazz and Umbria Jazz are worth mentioning. He therefore meets some of the greatest musicians of the world jazz scene: Mike Stern, Bill Frisell, Joe Lovano, Dave Holland, Frank Gambale, Joe Diorio, Pat Metheny, Marving Smith and Steve Coleman. Among his many collaborations, these are worth mentioning: Joey DeFrancesco, Jesse Davis, Stefano Bollani, Paolo Dalla Porta, Stefano Battaglia, Ares Tavolazzi, Phil Drummy, Tullio De Piscopo, Enzo Jannacci, Arup Kanti Das, Christian Meyer, Anna Oxa, Paul Reed Smith, Massimo Manzi, Rosario Bonaccorso, Stefano Cerri, Irio De Paula, Bebo Ferra, Sandro Gibellini, Andy Just, Alberto Marsico, Massimo Colombo, Marku Ribas, Stefano Bagnoli, Giampiero Prina, Juarez Moreira, Jimmy Cobb, Stefan Milenkovich. He has played more than 700 concerts in Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Slovenia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Albania, England, Russia. He's recorded 25 CDs and has participated in radio and tv transmissions in Italy and abroad. In 2003 he ranked first in the jazz category in the competition Creamusica in Milano. In 2004 he won the Fender Blues Contest in Rimini. In 2006, at the Dresden Conservatory he represented Italy in the international jury of the European Guitar Award, chaired by Ralph Towner. He has been a teacher since 1991. He teaches jazz guitar at the Centro Arti per lo Spettacolo in Milano, and jazz guitar, harmony and ear training at the Centro Didattico Musicateatrodanza in Rovereto (TN). He's held workshops about jazz improvisation in music schools, conservatories and universities in several European towns Dresden, Zagreb, Cottbus, Kamenz and Bamberg among others. Since 2006 he's held workshops on the development of so-called lateral thinking theoretically conceived by Edward De Bono, who is considered the biggest world expert in the field of teaching of creativity.
