Haunted Weekend Away in Simon's Town (Hotel Glencairn) In part 2 we will take you through our experience in Hotel Glencairn. Hotel Glencairn has long been rumoured as one of the most haunted sites in the southern peninsula. There have been many sightings and unexplained encounters, so much so that it has piqued the interest of Cape Town Paranormal Investigators, who filmed an episode in the Hotel early in 2016. They were very excited with what they caught on film and the interactions that they had. Rumour has it that Renee Scott and her son David met their untimely deaths on the stairwell of the Hotel. Since then they have been reminding guests and staff of their presence. It has often been reported that a dark-haired women dressed in a white gown has appeared in mirrors in various rooms of the hotel. A young boy of about 5 years of age has been seen running in front of the hot pass of the kitchen and he apparently enjoys playing pranks on people by moving things around and breaking glasses. Only Renee and David have been identified but it is believed that another three entities haunt along side them.
