LostInPA - Dad Enduro's video: The Shady Grove Gang

Huzzah! We meet up at the Darkwater DSHQ zone and tuck into an awesome pine tree fortress. Mike and Omer come out to play as well as PA Dual Sport and the Mrs. We start the day off with me leading. Lol. ACTS: ACT I: Sparky 1:06 I take the group down into the jeep competition area. It looks like frigging Jurassic Park. Woah. After being navigationally challenged for a minute I remember the Hook Hill. Up we go. Well, most of us. Sal's bike does a weird one and there are technical difficulties. ACT II: T.I.C. 3:02 After we get everyone sorted it's time for a little single track. We climb up the rocky entrance and I find it. The one with the big dumb root step. The only thing dumber is how I decide to tackle it. Then it's off and around the scenic loop which is mostly obscured by trees. So yeah. ACT III: Rear Entry 7:52 I lead everyone down to the old Darkwater lot and the practice pit. Next up it's the pine single track at the far end Things go good. Mostly. ACT IV: The Upper Deck 10:24 The gang heads up into the tracks above all the fray. Where ATV's fear to go. We ride along the old mining pits until we encounter Chris K's warmup hill. I'm not sure at first but once it gets ugly I know for sure, it's better up than down. ACT V: Rally Point 14:10 A quick dash away from the ATV infested parking lot and to the crane to meet up with Matt. Sal squishes his nuts. Omer tries a two stroke for the first time and has to take off for family duties. We press on. I recount the story of when we saw the KTM God. It was glorious. Ups, downs, rocks and all around we go. Finale: Repeat Offenders 17:47 We hit the single track near the Dirty Santa area. We of course make a wrong turn and go off into some other thing. That won't stop us. We hit it again until we get it right-ish. Sal and me leave the group to take care of business. Most of us made it back.
