Lottoman17's video: The Death of John Lennon: The Morning After - GMA Pt 2 of 4

@The Death of John Lennon: The Morning After - GMA (Pt. 2 of 4)
Tuesday morning, Dec. 9th, 1980, ABC Television's "Good Morning America" featured extensive coverage of the tragic death of John Lennon. Hosts David Hartman and Stephanie Edwards interviewed many show business luminaries who knew John Lennon, or had worked with him during his career. This is my video compilation of all the segments broadcast on "Good Morning America" that day, spanning most of the two hours dedicated to reporting on the death of Mr. Lennon. My entire compilation of all these "Good Morning America" segments has been edited into four separate videos. In "Good Morning America" video one, David Hartman opens the 7 o'clock hour announcing the death of John Lennon. Mr. Hartman then introduces ABC news anchorman, Steve Bell, who provides all the "hard news" information surrounding Lennon's death. A news video is presented, featuring a voice-over by Geraldo Rivera, who had a friendship with John Lennon. In the last segment of video one, co-host Stephanie Edwards introduces Pat Collins, who files her news report live, just outside the front gate of the Dakota apartment building where John and his wife, Yoko Ono, had resided, and where John Lennon was shot. Here is the link to video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6_anugXjA4 In "Good Morning America" video two, host David Hartman interviews Dave Sholin, of the RKO Radio Network and an air personality of KFRC Radio, San Francisco. Mr. Sholin had just conducted a three hour interview for radio with John and Yoko earlier in the day in which John Lennon was murdered. After the Dave Sholin interview concluded, our local ABC TV affiliate in Phoenix, AZ, Channel 3, KTVK TV, aired their local five minute news segment, "Good Morning Phoenix", featuring Ed Bradford. In the final segment of video two, David Hartman and Stephanie Edwards introduce ABC News anchor, Steve Bell, for another news segment. Here is the link to video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-UESKKq4Lk In "Good Morning America" video three, host David Hartman interviews disc jockey, "Murray the K" and music promoter, Sid Bernstein, on their memories of John Lennon. In the next segment, David Hartman interviews concert promoter, Don Kirshner, and Robert Palmer, music critic of The New York Times. The final segment of this video features co-hosts, David Hartman and Stephanie Edwards, closing out the first hour of "Good Morning America". Here is the link to video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c91ajeaiJNE In "Good Morning America" video four, David Hartman and Stephanie Edwards open the 8 o'clock hour. ABC News anchor, Steve Bell, presents more news information regarding John Lennon's death and ABC News correspondent, Rita Sands, reports from outside the Dakota apartment building. In the next segment, Geraldo Rivera presents the history of the Beatles and John Lennon's career. In the following segment, Stephanie Edwards introduces ABC News correspondent, Pat Collins, who reports live from outside the Dakota apartment building. Ms. Collins interviews a famous resident of the Dakota, columnist Rex Reed. Following that report by Pat Collins, ABC News anchor, Steve Bell, presents another news segment. In the final segment of this video, David Hartman and Stephanie Edwards close out the 8 o'clock hour of "Good Morning America".
