Yoruba technique dance class Luanda Pau's classes and workshops are focused on a more precise understanding of the rhythm and specific dance style, steps and movements of each orisha so you gradually become more independent dancers. Also, she works to develop the understanding of rhythm and songs corresponding to each deity. In her's workshops, Luanda spends some time teaching the different ways of using the skirt in the dances of Yemayá, Oshún y Oyá since the technique of the skirt is a crucial element for those Orishas. Luanda dedicates time to teach how to consolidate and improve, the technique of arm movements for Changó and Oyá since they are also an essential element for the coordination and transition in the dances of these orishas. WELCOME ALL LEVELS Including beginners and professional dancers. In Luanda Pau's classes and workshops, the warm-up will be carried out based on the Yoruba dance technique and the Isolation bodywork and the classes are divided into small groups corresponding to the different levels (from beginners to professionals).
