Ludwig van Larx's video: ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT Lotus of Alessandra - 01 Voca me cum benedictus Title Screen

@*ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT* Lotus of Alessandra - 01. "Voca me cum benedictus (Title Screen)"
Hello, everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted anything at all to my YouTube channel. This is mostly because things have been extremely rough these past few months, so I've had little to no time to work on music at all, and when I do have a bit of spare time, it's essentially spent resting and working on commissions... but mostly the former, lol. But at any rate, this has been a long time coming (around Q1 2016 I had started this project), and I feel like I'm finally ready to announce this project! It's called "Lotus of Alessandra". The idea of the project is to set music to a game (not real) that is heavily inspired by the works of Yuka Kitamura, Nobuyoshi Sukzuki, Tsukasa Saitoh, Motoi, Sakuraba, Shunsuke Kida, and many more (so essentially all of the composers who have worked on Souls-like titles, lol). The music is also supposed to be heavily programmatic. Throughout the soundtrack, you'll hear reappearing themes and motifs that are basically designed to tell a story without words; almost similar in the way Hidetaka Miyazaki achieves his story driven experiences in his games. I'm aiming for this project to be completed by late 2021, but not sure if that'll be entirely possible. However, anything can happen and it can be completed on schedule, before schedule or after schedule. Here's hoping that either two of the first possibilities are what ends up occurring, lol. So onto this particular track, it's supposed to be set as title screen music for this fictional game. The setting of this game is supposed to be very dark, so the music follows suit (as is the case with Miyazaki's works, lol) and this track actually contains the primary theme for the main character of the story. I don't want to spoil anything, but listen carefully to this track, and then when more tracks are released, see if you can spot the theme! I'll explain more about the setting of the game as I completed more tracks! Also, I'm planning on publishing this album to the following services: iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora and Bandcamp. So there will be plenty of different options for everyone to grab the album from their preferred platform! And one final thing: the beautiful artwork was drawn by the amazing Ina Wong! I commissioned the piece from her back in 2016 and she did an absolutely AMAZING job with it, I couldn't be happier with the result! I'm not sure if she is currently open for work, but please do check out the rest of her works! https://www.deviantart.com/inawong But I hope everyone enjoys this piece and more uploads will be coming!
