But recently, I've been unable to compose any battle themes. I've been composing a lot of piano sonatas (you might actually see a live recorded one on my YouTube channel soon :P), and I'm sure that's the reason why because my style of piano composition is much more different than what I post on here. So, it took me a while to get back into the swing of things. But my idea for this piece was to kind of make it a piano concerto. I was originally going to compose this piece in sonata form, too, but I decided that it would make this piece way too long and just kind of do what I usually do. lol But this piece is also influenced by Beethoven's Op. 27 No. 2, III. Presto Agitato sonata for piano. So, if you know that piece, you may actually recognize a few things (I think the most notable thing would be the dominant pedal tone near the end of the piece, and the arpeggios during the Ab Maj key change). So, yep. lol I hope you guys like it. :P
