Ludwig van Larx's video: B2W2 Original Composition: Encounter Meloetta Fan-Made

I was originally going to do this piece using other soundfonts, but since it is a Pokemon from the Unova region, I decided to use the B2W2 soundfonts for this piece. So, I know nothing about Meloetta, and the only information I got about it was that it is a Pokemon that sings, and can change the emotions of other Pokemon. So, my goal with this piece was to start off cheerful (the piece begins in a happy A Major) and then make its way into something less cheerful (the piece modulates to the relative minor of A, f # minor). For a different atmosphere, though, this piece makes extensive use of 9th chords and a lot of non-harmonic tones, in general. So, throughout this piece, you'll hear a lot of different colors. Not only that, but I decided to take into the account the design of the Pokemon, and it didn't really look too threatening to me. So, rather than doing my usual 185 - 220 BPM (even though my last piece was 152 BPM), this piece comes in at 167 BPM. That way it doesn't have that fast-paced, craziness feeling to it, if that makes any sense at all, haha. For the main melodic line, I also used the voice dooh instrument (I think it's the first time it has been used by any fan-made Pokemon composer!) because it had a really warm sound, and obviously provided the singing sound that I wanted for this piece. So, yeah... this piece is really light and like "molto cantabile" (is the way I would describe it). So, yeah. That's pretty much it.
