This temple dates back to the 14th century and is considered one of the most sacred sites in northern Thailand. Visitors can climb the 306 steps to reach the temple or take a cable car to the top. Once there, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the city and a stunning golden chedi (stupa). Another popular temple in Chiang Mai is Wat Chedi Luang, which was built in the 14th century and is famous for its enormous chedi. The safari takes you on a thrilling journey through the wilderness, where you can see nocturnal animals in their natural habitat. Finally, let's talk about the cost of living in Chiang Mai. Compared to other popular destinations in Thailand, Chiang Mai is relatively affordable. You can enjoy delicious street food for as little as $1, and a decent meal in a restaurant will set you back around $5-$10.
