Contrapunto bestiale alla mente is a chorus from the 1608 work from ‘Festino nella sera del giovedi grasso avante cena’ by Italian composer Adriano Banchieri (1568-1634) 'A dog, a cuckoo, a cat and an owl enjoy themselves with a counterpoint upon a ground'. Live performance by Lumina Vocal Ensemble in their 'Aardvarks and Armadillos' concert in the Barr Smith Library Reading Room, Adelaide University during the 2013 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
