For once I listened to my heart not my brain My brain tells me I am not good enough Some of you tell me I can’t stand to hear you out. No matter how much I tried I felt weak Staying positive was an impossible action As I constantly tried to explain; I continually felt drained My life became a replay, take photos, do a video, repeat I became impersonal but in my head I felt I was protecting myself from all the hate Instead I lost myself in the way They say what could have possibly happened to her did she get raped? As I cried my days away I carried the weight I’d stand here and say I’m sorry, sorry for saying the wrong thing, Sorry for being an emotional human being but I’m not because my whole life I apologized for every single thing.. You should never feel sorry because life threw you What feels like a millions rocks when you didn’t even catch your breath to hold Feeling sorry for yourself is for fools; You have tools not every one can use, build yourself a path that Can help a million just like you. I promise it’s not just you I will be always be that four year little girl afraid for my mothers life I will always be that 16 year old afraid for my life But I am not afraid...
