Lux Life London's video: Snorkelling Great Barrier Reef Fitzroy Island Australia Lux Life

A travel vlog from my weekend in Cairns exploring the famous Great Barrier Reef and Fitzroy Island on the East Coast of Australia! The Great Barrier Reef is so huge it's visible from space, and has been subject to a large amount of coral bleaching in recent years due to climate change. [CLICK SHOW MORE] When snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef you can see the bleached coral as well as the vibrant colourful coral. I flew from Sydney to Cairns for the weekend, and chose to do a day trip on the Great Barrier Reef with Passions of Paradise and they were amazing! You can read more about it on my blog: I then did a half day trip to FItzroy Island which is a paradise island a 30minute boat ride from Cairns. Fitzroy Island has a fringing reef, which means the reef is straight off the beach rather than in the middle of the ocean. I wasn't too impressed with the reef to be honest, and I didn't see any turtles. I did see a black tipped reef shark though which was cool!
